How it works
thefirmdex is a technology consulting index published by bixod. It helps customers explore firms, understand their services, and reach their official websites.
What a firm profile tells you
The directory includes businesses with different roles: technology consultancies, multidisciplinary professional-services firms, management consultancies, research providers, and software companies. A listing does not mean a firm delivers every technology service or that its services have been independently tested.
Profiles are AI-generated. The source-linked generation process researches official firm pages and distinguishes advisory work, implementation, managed services, research, and software products. Source links let readers check the published basis for a description. Older profiles may not yet include those sources.
How search works
Firm names and website domains are searchable. Technology filters and service searches use supported capability fields from source-linked profiles. An article about a technology, a product license, or an unverified mention does not establish a consulting service. Older profiles without those fields remain browsable but do not qualify for technology filters.
Sponsorship and ordering
bixod appears first as a labeled Sponsor, including when it does not match a search. It counts toward the matching-firm total only when it meets the search criteria. Other sponsored listings can appear ahead of ordinary matches. Names are otherwise ordered alphabetically according to the selected sort direction. Placement is not a quality score or a recommendation.
Evaluating a provider
Use a profile to narrow your research, then confirm the proposed work with the firm. Ask who will deliver it, which technologies are in scope, what comparable projects the team has completed, and how ongoing support will work. Published capabilities and availability can change.
